Understanding Generation Alpha

Understanding Generation Alpha:

Few people have heard of the next rising generation. This generation will soon outnumber baby boomers globally, and many will live to see the dawn of the 22nd Century. We’re learning and talking about Generation Alpha, who are defined as those born between 2010 – 2024.The eldest of this generation have just begun their teenage years, and the youngest have yet to be born.

The children of millennials, they are the most tech-savvy and materially endowed generation ever, and will enjoy a longer lifespan than any previous generation. They will stay in education longer, start their earning years later and so will stay at home with their parents later than even Gen Z.

How do they learn?

Who are Generation Alpha?

What’s on their minds?

What’s on their hearts?

And why is it so important that the church understand this growing age group?

Whether you are a senior church leader, children’s ministry leader, teacher or non-profit leader, or whether you are a parent or have a young person in your life, you are invited to join us and learn more about Generation Alpha.

Join Shaila Visser, National Director of Alpha Canada, as she seeks the answers to these questions in a special interview with futurist and social researcher, Mark McCrindle, BSc, MA.

This event is not run by the Kids Church Library. This is just a community board of awesome events for kidmin leaders.
